Mr. Yanouk Poirier is an entrepreneur at heart who has created and grown several businesses. His varied career reinforces his passion for entrepreneurship and allows him to fully grasp the reality of new business leaders and entrepreneurs.
As a Partner at Leaders & Co., Mr. Poirier brings his entrepreneurial expertise, multifaceted profile and talent for communication to help national and international business leaders to achieve their business strategies. His extensive knowledge has allowed him to successfully lead numerous recruiting assignments for executives and members of Board of Directors.
Recognized by Les Affaires, Quebec’s leading business publications, as one of the leaders of tomorrow, Mr. Poirier is the recipient of numerous awards. He has launched successful publications such as “Tu n’es pas seule” (You’re not alone), the proceeds of which were donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. He also authored “Qui a peur du Inc.?” (Who's Afraid of Inc.?), a collective publication involving 13 young Quebec entrepreneurs, which has become a textbook at HEC Montréal. Most recently, he was the driving force behind “Sortie 13”, a group of 13 leaders of Generations X and Y addressing major issues on Quebec public affairs.
A former winner of the Concours québécois en entrepreneuriat, one of Québec’s entrepreneurship awards, Mr. Poirier now sits on the jury for the same award. A participant at the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference in 2008, he currently manages the campaign to recruit candidates for the 2012 edition of the same event.
Mr. Poirier holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a major in International Relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a degree in management and entrepreneurship from HEC Montréal. He has obtained a diploma from McGill University (Mini-MBA for Changing Times).
